Winnie the Pooh is a book that Alan Alexander Milne wrote for his son Christoper Robin and the characters that the reader encounters in the book are toys from his son’s room. He was observing how his son made his toys come to life by giving them a personality and came up with the idea of creating heroes that will be enjoyed by million kids. Owl is an anthropomorphic owl who first appeared in Disney's animated short, Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree. Owl's character is based on the stereotype of the "wise old owl", though his "wisdom" is sometimes questionable. Owl was hatched in a tree near Eeyore's Gloomy Place in the Hundred Acre Wood.
